Mr Roberto P. Casula, MD, FRCS, FETCS, is the Head of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London, where he has worked as a consultant since 2001. In August this year I was operated by Mr Casula for a heart valve repair, a complex operation carried out perfectly by minimal access surgery techniques. The post-operative care and attention to detail is a most important part lasting weeks.
